DICOMJet is a Windows 32-bit multi-thread application,
acting as a TCP connection server. It is also able to run as a
Windows service, enabling a completely unattended
operational mode, which is independent of the user sessions. It
works in background, without requiring a user interaction. In
any case, DICOMJet is provided with an easy-to-use Graphical User
Interface allowing to set the numerous configuration preferences.

From the DICOM point of view, DICOMJet is a Print Service
Class Provider (Print SCP), accepting
incoming connections and DICOM associations by Print Service Class
Users (Print SCU).
DICOMJet contains an implementation of the DICOM protocols (DICOM
Upper Layer and DICOM DIMSE Layer) that is compliant with the
DICOM 3.0 specification. This implementation is proprietary by
NeoLogica.
